Influenced by Ateweberhan Segid and Idris “Wad Amir,” he excelled in singing both Tigrinya and Tigrayit. Known as "Memher" or Teacher, he also taught at an Arabic-language school in Asmara. Alamin Abduletif was among the founders of Mahber Maytigrat along with Mr. Jaber Mahmud, and their companions.
